Fortunate Son
I had Chinese food last week. Ok, that in itself isn't blog worthy, but stick with me here...
For one thing, it was goo-ood. For another thing, my luck with fortune cookies happened again.
Without fail, I get more than one fortune in my fortune cookie. Every time. Or, at least every time in, ohhh, the past 6 years or so. So, for the sake of argument, since I rarely used tobe able to afford eat Chinese food before then, I'm considering this in an 'ever' type of way. Ok? Good.
Anywhoo, I got three fortunes in my fortune cookie this time.
I know. I'm fortunate with fortune cookies.
And, considering I do the whole "in bed" suffix thing, I must say my fortunes were mar-vel-lous.
My fortunes were:
Now, ok, the second one makes me sound a little trampy. "Piling up"?? Ummm, no. But still, I like the integrity and consistency part!
As much as I do love chow mein and chop suey, I think my favourite part of the Chinese food experience is most definitely the fortunes.
